Signal-based selling

An outbound approach that prioritizes accounts by real-time buying signals and leads every touch with the specific reason to reach out now.

Signal-based selling replaces 'work the whole list evenly' with 'work the accounts that just changed.' Instead of a static tier ranking, reps work a live board ordered by who fired a relevant signal most recently.

The payoff is on both sides of the funnel. Prioritization improves because rep time flows to accounts with an actual buying window. Messaging improves because every first touch can open with a concrete, cited reason — which reads like research, not a mail-merge.

It only works if the signals are timely, relevant, and verifiable, and if the workflow puts them in front of the rep at the moment they matter — not in a quarterly CSV.
